Honest & Adventuresome Wedding Imagery

Anastasia & Kyle had originally planned to do their photos out at Hog Lake, but after an accident the week before our session, Anastasia found herself with a broken femur and we had to quickly scrap our plans. To everybody’s amazement, she was messaging me about doing their photos just a few weeks later, and she insisted on doing the whole session without crutches. (Did I mention she also wore heels for the whole shoot?? I was pretty amazed.) We went back and forth on a few different ideas for locations that wouldn’t be so strenuous to get to before settling on Priest Lake. Anastasia used to come to this very spot for summers as a kid, and she described Priest Lake to me as her favorite place in the entire world, so I think that our new location ended up being pretty perfect. It was wonderful wandering around with these two in a place that such meaning to them; I haven’t had much of a chance to explore there yet and there were some seriously heart-stopping views of the Selkirk mountains along the lake that I had no idea where hiding out there! They brought their two favorite fluff-balls along to the shoot, which made the entire day so much more fun. As the sun was setting over the lake, they asked if Devon & I would like our picture taken for once (that tells you how sweet these two are!) So, in a little bit of a switch-up, our faces are down at the end of the post today!
