All Day Elopement in Mt. Baker National Forest

Kevin and Brinli's amazing day had to be one of our biggest favorites from the past year. They really packed in as much adventure as they could into an amazing, filled-to-the-brim day that they centered around all the things they love to do together. We all got up waaay before the sun, and hiked up in the dark. They changed into their wedding clothes and had their first look in their wedding clothes before the sun came up, and exchanged their vows to each other privately as the sunrays began to light up Mt Shuskan behind them. After geeking out about how amazing the light was and chatting about lots of great hiking in Alaska where Kevin hails from, they cooked a delicious breakfast on top of the mountain (thank you again for those bagel sammies, Kevin, they hit the frickin spot!), and spend some time paddling around one of the many beautiful small lakes in their inflatable kayak. After a long, much-deserved afternoon nap, we met up with them in the evening for their formal ceremony with a family and friends present. After wandering around the mountain some more, they headed back to their rental cabin for some dancing and some pizza. It was an incredible day, full of fun, good food, great company, and I think these two might love Theo even more than we do. They were so delightful to hang out with, and the photos we had a chance to make with them are just astounding and some of my all time favorites. They really embraced making the day their own, and it was so fun to see their joy and personalities come through in all the things they planned for their day together.
