Backpacking Engagement Session in Gifford Pinchot

These two were coming in from the east coast for their engagement session, and being avid backpackers, I suggested we go for a multi-day excursion. They were keen to see more in the Gifford Pinchot area, which we haven't explored as much as areas to the North, and we happily agreed! We set out on our 16 mile trip, with their two dogs and our dog Theo in tow. We camped by a beautiful alpine lake with incredible views of Mt. Adams, and went for a sunrise scramble to a nearby peak in the morning before the long, dusty descent back to the trailhead. They were troopers for putting in the long miles and bringing their two pups along as well!
