There are dream teams and then there are DREAM. TEAMS. Caitlin and Kevin are wonderful, lovely pair, and we had such a blast hanging out with them for their engagement session, so I already knew their wedding at Brown Family Homestead in Leavenworth was gonna be tons and tons of fun.
What I didn't know was that when Caitlin asked me for some vendor recommendations, she was gonna totally run with it, and I'm SO GLAD she did! We got to work with some of our very favorite vendors in the wedding world for this wedding and it was the. most. fun. Shyn from Pacific Brides worked her usual absolute wizardry on hair and makeup, and it's been like 5 months and I'm still not over how amazing Shelby's floral designs were. The hairpieces, the bouquets, the tables, all of it was so, so stunning, and perfectly in line with the boho, fall theme. The powder blue gave a beautiful contrast to the bursts of fall color, and Caitlin looked unbelievably gorgeous in her BHLDN gown that was so flowey and full of movement.
Caitlin and Kevin had their first look in a field, full of fall color (to Caitlin & Kevin: thanks for trusting me on making you walk through a cow pasture, you guys are the best) Ravishing Radish Catering did a ridiculously good job on the food (as always), and the whole day was gorgeous, sunny weather with crispy air.
They held a very sweet, laughter-filled ceremony up on the hill overlooking the surrounding mountains in Leavenworth before heading back down to their tented reception. We took a short jaunt to the lake for some evening portraits before finding a few roadside gems of fall color on the way back to the reception. One sweet lady who lived in a nearby neighborhood actually flagged us down and insisted we take photos by the Japanese maples in her yard, because the bright red color was the best she'd seen it in years. (I have to admit, those maples were jaw-dropping, and she was not wrong!) After we got back to their reception, they danced the night away to a ton of amazing music. It was such a wonderful day to be a part of and we loved every minute of hanging out with these two and their amazingly fun group of family and friends.
