Heather & Philippe held their intimate wedding in Leavenworth at a cozy cabin along the river, surrounded by just a few of their nearest and dearest friends and family. It was definitely not what they had originally pictured for their wedding day, hoping to have a large beachside bash with views of the Puget Sound before the pandemic set in. The wedding they ended up having wasn't plan a, or even plan b, it was perfect anyway. They were able to have a few guests, and held a classic, beautiful ceremony amidst trees before heading out to one of the most scenic drives in Washington outside of downtown Leavenworth for sunset portraits in a classic convertible. They had a home-cooked dinner at a long, family style table outside of the cabin, and ended the evening with some dancing. This riverfront Leavenworth wedding was a great example of a way a larger plan can be beautifully downsized without losing any of the fun, intentionality, or beauty.
