Fall Intimate Wedding at Cabin on Skykomish River

Emma & Patrick's big wedding was postponed, but that didn't stop them from creating an amazing intimate wedding day in Skykomish at a cozy rental cabin along the river. The theme of the day was centered around buffalo plaid, eating good food together, and enjoying all the bright, vibrant fall colors around. They had an incredible array of delicious cakes, an amazing custom hand-painted leather jacket that looked incredible on Emma, and the family labradoodle puppy that bounced all over, giving everyone lots of laughs throughout. Emma & Patrick are such a sweet, goofy couple when they're together. You can always count on them cracking jokes, making silly faces, and doing small adorable things to make each other laugh. There were plenty of happy tears throughout the day, along with a lot of joy and relief that they had finally made it to their wedding day, even though it looked so very different than they had planned. After their ceremony out by the river bank, they relaxed by the fire pit, ate cake and toasted champagne, video chatted with far away friends & family, and even tried out some axe throwing! (don't worry though, my uncoordinated self did not attempt it) Emma & Patrick and their family made such a wonderful atmosphere and really made us feel like welcome old friends. We are so excited to see them & all their loved ones again for their big wedding party in the future!
