This Kalaloch Lodge wedding was truly a spectacular, heartfelt day that we so enjoyed. From the very start, we felt so welcomed and embraced by these two and their incredible friends and family. We'd met Veronica & Andreas for their fall engagement session the year before, and were so excited to finally witness their wedding after so many delays & pandemic reschedules! They had a gorgeous spring coastal wedding with their ceremony at Ruby Beach and their cozy dinner at Kalaloch Lodge in the evening. They had an intimate group of their nearest and dearest present for their wedding day in the Olympic National Park, and of course their beloved pup Walden also made quite a few adorable appearances throughout the day. They spent the afternoon hours chatting and passing the time with toasts and great music from their guests, and an incredible home cooked meal from the bride's mother, who really put any professional caterer to shame with the spread she prepared. Veronica & Andreas had a private vow exchange on Ruby Beach before some wild weather rolled in, and we postponed the ceremony a bit to see if the weather would clear. We got just enough sunshine for them to have their larger ceremony on the beach before another burst of rain blew through, which created some absolutely amazing portraits. The cabins at Kalaloch Lodge created a perfect atmosphere for their wedding, and was a great choice to keep things cozy, fun, and immersed in the wild beauty of the PNW. We just love these two and how kind, intentional, thorough, and genuine they are, all qualities that shined through immensely in their wedding celebration. The only thing we're bummed about is that they made a transatlantic move and now live in Amsterdam, so we can't hang out more regularly!
