Leap Day Wedding in Corvallis, Oregon

Taylor & Lewis are a incredibly sweet, adventurous couple who are obsessed with their dog, foraging mushrooms, and exploring new places together, so I knew we were gonna be great friends. Taylor reached out to us before they had any solid wedding plans, but with one thing in mind: they knew that they wanted to get married on Leap Day! Since Leap Day landed on a Saturday, they wanted to take advantage of the unique wedding date and the extra good luck.

We emailed back and forth for a few months before they found the perfect venue and plan for what they wanted their celebration to look like. Taylor is an incredibly kind, sweet soul and I had so much fun emailing back and forth with her. When we finally met in person I knew immediately we were gonna be great friends! Taylor & Lewis love the green, mossy environs of their home state of Oregon, so naturally, they exchanged their vows in a beautiful forest outside of Corvallis before heading to their cozy wedding celebration with all their friends and family at Flinn Block Hall in Albany.

The florals by Flowers & Thyme were amazing, including this super cool geometric arch that was to die for. After their very sweet ceremony, we wandered around downtown for a short bit before heading back to dance the night away. While I'm writing this, these two are still stuck in Peru (they got stranded there on their honeymoon, thanks to coronavirus!), but hopefully by the time this hits the blog, they'll be back home again and reunited with their sweet pup!
