These two created a totally unique destination elopement for their friends and family in Moab, Utah. Coming from out of town, they wanted all their loved ones to experience the wild beauty of a desert that has come to mean so much to them. We met up with them early in the day to help set up their wedding ceremony, before taking some incredible portraits in this beautiful outdoor natural cathedral, with dizzyingly tall rock spires and incredible textures and light everywhere. Their guests hiked out to meet them, and enjoyed some snacks and took in the scenery before the ceremony began. Although we cut things short on the mesa because of an incoming, blustery rain storm, the sun broke through in the end for an incredible, dazzling sunset. We had such a blast hanging out with these two, and we loved how they just embraced all things adventure for their day, letting go of expectations and eagerly awaiting whatever the day had in store for them. We also met up with them for an incredible jeep adventure in another incredible Utah park, Capitol Reef (one of our favorite places!!) for a sunrise session.
