In the summer, Mount Baker is an alpine heaven of wildflowers and long sunny days. The trails are all accessible, the stargazing is incredible, and this is the busiest time of year, with the most visitors and crowds.
In the spring, the weather is variable and active. The lowlands might be full of green, but up at Mt Baker, there's usually around 10-20 feet of snow on the ground, but very few other visitors.

For lovers of winter wonderland, you can experience why so many people come skii, snowboard, and snowshoe this paradise! The mountain in winter is truly a majestic place. It can be a busy destination, and the ski towns surrounding Mt Baker are alive with activity.
My favorite season at Mt Baker! The bugs have died, the tourists have left, the berries are ripe, and perfect fall color is everywhere! The weather can be active and moody, from clouds to sun to rain all in afternoon. Quiet, gorgeous, and underrated.
