Mt Adams Lakeside Elopement

You might remember these two from the very amazing styled shoot we did with them back in May, but they tied the knot for real themselves this summer! Emily & Jaimie had an incredible, lowkey, colorful, bright, and relaxed elopement day at Mt Adams, full of amazing details and thought out touches that really made the day feel entirely tailored to them & what they loved most. They brought their beloved pup Lucy along for the whole thing, of course, and opted to color their hair together just days before the wedding! The super bright color palette and amazing outfits of course, made for a very fun time to photograph. I so enjoying getting to work with bright colors, and I love when couples think outside the box for their wedding day.

While a few things went sideways, like the fact that Emily had to mend her pants literally in the hotel room (thank goodness for my trusty emergency sewing kit), and the spot we had picked out for their elopement was absolutely swarming with unusual crowds of people (thanks to everyone experiencing covid cabin fever), forcing us to get creative & scramble (quite literally, up a few rocks) to find a good, quiet spot for their ceremony. But, it all worked out beautifully in the end! They had a gorgeous, private ceremony with an epic post-elopement picnic along the lake with views of Mt Adams, styled to perfection by Kate at Tapestry Event Co. We splashed around in the lake a bit as the sun went down, and they soaked up the views while Lucy the dog ran around and made sure everyone was soaking wet too.
