Sunrise Elopement at Mt St Helens & Backyard Wedding Reception

It's been a hot minute since we had a spare time to update the blog with all the amazing, crazy stuff 2020 had in store for us! One of our first elopements we were able to capture after Phase 1 lockdown was this gorgeous sunrise elopement in Mt St Helens. Kelsey & Matt made a lot of last minute changes and modifications to their plans, but they were able to have their loved ones present for their vow exchange in front of their favorite mountain on a gorgeous spring morning. After their ceremony, we took a short hike to a better overlook of Mt St Helens (aka Loowit) for some portraits before taking a nice long break in the afternoon. We met up with them later for a backyard picnic in the evening, complete with some delicious poke and ice-cream bars and an adorable appearance by their sweet dog who snuck in for a few photos sporting her floral crown. This Mt St Helens elopement was such a good way to get back into the swing of things after months of staying home, and it kicked off our 2020 wedding season with such a sweet note!

The gorgeous florals were provided by Colibri Blooms, and Hair & Makeup by Anne Timss.
