Rachel & Zach are the sort of people who you immediately want to be adopted by after meeting them. They are not only incredibly stylish, but also down to earth, kind, considerate, well travelled, and the life of any dance party. After we had such an amazing time photographing their engagement last year in a snowstorm, we knew their wedding was going to be spectacular, elegant, and super fun. They rented out the Ohair Ranch Lodge for the weekend for their friends and family to stay in, and held their wedding on the rolling property in Paradise Valley, which overlooks the Absaroka Mountains just outside of Yellowstone National Park. Rachel & Zach had a the sweetest, emotional first look & private vow exchange by the Yellowstone River, which runs through the ranch, before heading out for some portraits with their super fun bridal party (those blue bridesmaids jumpsuits were AMAZING).
We loved being a part of their Montana wedding so much, they're such wonderful people, and it was an honor to photograph their wedding day. It was a flawlessly designed day, curtesy of the wonderful Magnolia Blue Events and Wild Blume's stunning florals. We had a blast working with Jessica of Royal Fox films, she is an amazing, talented videographer and we only wish she didn't live in Utah so we could work with her all the time.
Rachel & Zach's adorable, rambunctious Australian Shepherd pup Axel stole everyone's hearts (as per usual), and one of my favorite parts of the day was Rachel & Zach's exit from their ceremony in a vintage Jeep with their dog in the back, riding off into the blue mountains as official newlyweds!
For the evening, they enjoyed some wonderful tacos and nachos from a local favorite taco truck, admired the huge Montana horizon at sunset, and danced the chilly, September night away with all their friends and family. After our gorgeous stay at a super adorable airbnb cabin, we headed out to Glacier National Park for a few quick hikes on the way home. We had such a blast and can't wait to head back to Montana for more Paradise Valley weddings again soon!!
