Ever since I discovered that we have sand dunes in Washington, I knew I had to find them somehow and shoot there. Luckily, these two sweet people were not only up for the challenge, but agreed to do it at sunrise. So Devon and I packed into the car early morning and drove down from Spokane. We hiked into the dunes before the sun rose, accompanied by the occasional hawk and the sound of coyotes with the moon high above our heads and pink skies to the east. By the time we reached the dunes, not only did we have the entire stretch of the river to ourselves, but the sunrise had given way to that perfect golden white light that makes me love sunrise sessions so much. (and that means a lot, coming from someone who struggles with mornings!)
We had such a wonderful time with these good natured sweethearts, and we're already plotting ways to go back!
